September 9, 2020, Layton, UT – Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District (Wasatch) is waiving fees for clean green waste delivered to the Davis Landfill by
residents of the District for a period of two weeks beginning today. The fee waiver does not apply to businesses or commercial customers. Residential customers will need to
show proof of residency to receive the fee waiver which is in response to the severe storm damage suffered by the community over the past two days.
Bob Stevenson, Chair of the Administrative Control Board and Davis County Commissioner said “2020 has been a tough year and we want to provide our residents
with a little good news along with a valued service”. We have appreciated the community’s support over the years, and this is a great way to return that support.
Clean green waste delivered to the Davis Landfill will be upcycled into mulch and compost over the coming year said Nathan Rich, Executive Director. “Please remember
to take the time to properly secure your load to prevent debris from ending up on roadways”
The landfill will be very busy over the next few days and we appreciate your patience as we work to get you in and out of the facility as quickly and safely as possible.
The Davis Landfill is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Please visit our website at www.wasatchintegrated.org for additional information regarding hour,
location, and proof of residency requirements.
